I confess, I love yarn. I enjoy caressing it, and imagining what it might become if I were to take knitting needles to it. Like many other knitters, I can’t help myself when tempted by knitable fiber. Cotton, cashmere, soysilk, bamboo and even plain ole’ wool whisper to me of socks, sweaters, & scarves. Gradually, I’m learning the necessary skills to create those lovely garments.
Much of my knitting is done while supervising DS in his homeschool education or watching our pair of house rabbits play bunny games in the living room. DH politely admires my knitting, encourages the homeschooling, and does his best not to trip over the “zoo” as he calls it.
A love affair I can relate to

I suspected you’d understand. I can’t help but wonder sometimes–what is it about books and yarn that attract each other?
